More than 30 growers and industry members attended the Irrigation Decisions That Pay workshop recently held at CherryHill Orchards in Coldstream.
The day provided plenty of practical discussion around irrigation, soil moisture, tree stress and making better water use decisions heading into challenging conditions. It was also great to see some of FGV’s new cherry grower members in attendance.
One of the highlights of the day was the orchard walk after the presentations, where attendees were able to see CherryHill’s irrigation systems and setup firsthand out in the orchard.
FGV would also like to thank speakers Charles Thompson and Dr. Doris Blaesing from RMCG for sharing their knowledge and insights throughout the workshop.
