Fruit Growers Victoria - Voice for the Fruit Industry
Who We Are
Fruit Growers Victoria Limited (FGV) is the peak body for fruit growing, packing, and exporting businesses across the north-east Goulburn Valley, central, and southern growing regions of Victoria.
FGV represents growers of apples, pears, cherries, and all stonefruit, providing a strong voice for our members. Our purpose is to work towards a sustainable future for fruit growers and the horticulture industry across Victoria.
Our Team
FGV is a not-for-profit, unlisted public company, which means we are owned by our members and operate for their benefit.
FGV is governed by its Board of Directors, who provide good governance, set policy, and give direction to the Operations Committee.
Board Directors are elected by FGV members annually for three-year terms, with staggered retirements by rotation. Retiring directors may renominate.
The Operations Committee, appointed by the Board, manages the day-to-day running of the business, following the Board’s policies and directions.
